A very attractive 1874 better date traded dollar graded VF 35 by PCGS. It holds excellent details for the grade level with very appealing darkly toned and original surfaces. This coin is a very under-rated and under-appreciated date in our recommendation. It is extremely hard to come by in this this grade level, especially having earned the CAC sticker of approval for quality such as this one.
This Philadelphia Mint coni holds a total mintage of 987,100. However, the PCGS Coin Fact estimates that only 1,000 have survived in all grades today. it is one of only five graded Very Fine 35 by PCGS. It is also one of only two approved by CAC for quality in this grade level.
