An attractive 1877 CC trade dollar graded AU 55 by PCGS. It carries the perfect amount of detail for the grade and is entirely original. This coin carries very crusty original toned surfaces throughout both sides. It has been notated by PCGS to have been 'Chop Marked'. It carries what looks like three different chop marks on the obverse and one different chop mark on the reverse.
This Carson City Mint date holds a total mintage of 534,000. However, PCGS Coin Facts estimates that only 35 have survived with Chop Marks in all grades today. It is one of only five graded About Uncirculated 55 by PCGS.
