THE PICTURE IS THE ACTUAL ITEM YOU WILL RECEIVE.
This item has a known defect.  I have marked on one picture the defect I found.  The Blue Spongeware Platter has "raised chips" and a couple other little dings.  The cream platter has two tiny black marks (pin head size) and scratches on the side.
Please understand that I am no expert on anything that I sell.  I do alot of research before listing an item.  I do my best to describe each piece as best I can.The Henn Pottery pieces that I am selling were bought in an overstock type store who bought a huge lot at the closing of the business. I have had these pieces 10 years.  I know they were in a "salvage store"
environment, meaning they were not in the original boxes, and they were handled alot, and mishandled alot.
It is possible that some of these pieces were considered
defective, meaning creator induced such as marks, chips or scratch.
There is no intent on my part to be misleading in any way.  If there should be a problem, please contact me, I will do all that I can to help resolve any issues.
