    Description

Warble Alarm Cuts Through Ambient Noise
unlike all others. db rating not specified,
but estimate 90 to 100 db output.
    What is a Warble Alarm?
A Warble Alarm produces an ascending / descending range
of frequencies repeating about every two seconds. This makes
for a distinctive sound that is more easily noticed when there is
ambient noise. The transition between frequencies is smooth
(not stepped) and the alarm uses "Piezo" technology. Typical
Piezo alarms produce sound in the 2Khz to 4Khz sound range.
These type of alarms sound loud to people with normal hearing,
but will not sound nearly as loud to people with high-frequency
hearing loss and may not be suitable for them.

We've tested a wide variety of mini
alarms sold on eBay and elsewhere, and
we've found this brand and model to be
    superior in quality, performance, and
    reliability. Read below what we
    discovered.
Truth is, the sound intensity of all
    piezo alarms varies considerably, even
among the same brand and model number.
This it true of all alarms! It is due to
the variation in natural resonance of
the internal parts, and tiny variations
    in materials and construction. This
variation is unavoidable. That's why we
Pre-Test and Sort to make sure you get
    the performance and quality advertised
in our ad. Most sellers don't do this,
so what you get from them is a huge
    gamble.
    Be advised that Chinese manufacturers
have copied this alarm and are selling
    inferior look-alikes. Most sellers are
unaware of this because they have not
tested and compared mini alarms like we
    have.
Also know this alarm has a slightly
reduced sound output compared to our top
tier line of this product (remember, I
Pre-Test and Sort). For our Top tier alarms,
    search item number 320951173742.
    Also Note:
This is just a Sounder and requires a
connection to a Power supply or battery
and a triggering mechanism that has an
    automatic shut-off.
    Usage Considerations:
Since this is a Mini Alarm having Low
    Power Requirements and a Small
Diaphragm, this alarm may not be
suitable for outdoor use where a large
coverage area is desired or the sound
    needs to carry great distances.
    BEWARE:
    It's common for Chinese manufacturers
and other sellers to make False Claims
on the DB Sound level produced and
the Watt rating of the amplifier that is
producing the sound. But here is how
you can tell when false claims are being
    made:
First, find the listed current rating of the
alarm in the ad and multiply that value
(in amps) times the alarm's maximum
voltage rating. If your calculation is much
less than the seller's stated Watt rating,
you cannot trust the specs the seller has
listed for his alarm. If the seller's ad does
not list the alarm's operating current, that
can also be a clue that the seller does not
want you to know the truth about his alarm.
This alarm's power consumption is about
    1.32 Watt (.11 Amp x 12V = 1.32 Watt).
That is typical for piezo mini alarms
of this size, yet you will find some
eBay sellers advertising these kind of
mini alarms as 10 Watt, which is a
HUGE LIE! Know what you're buying
and if you can trust who you're buying from.
