    Mattress is guaranteed BRAND NEW and NEVER USED... you will have to attach the mattress to frame yourself, it is new still in plastic.  Takes about 30 minutes to attach the buttons.  It is like buttoning a shirt, you put the mattress buttons into the frame slits.  Rubber buttons can be hard,  so best to have the mattress in warm location and also sometimes using a blow dryer to heat them up helps.
