?This is a REPRODUCTION pair of shoulder sleeve insignia or "flashes" for US citizens who volunteered to fly in the Royal Air Force ("RAF"), usually by doing so from emigration to Canada, since the US was "neutral" before Germany's declaration of war on December 10, 1941.  It is one of two types of insignia, the other being the more prevalent "E.S./Spread Eagle"" type of the famed Eagle Squadron.  The flashes are in MINT pair of right and left-facing insignia.  They are uncut and are embroidered with white thread on black felt with a light canvas backing.  Here's an opportunity for the RAF re-enactor to obtain a pristine set of flashes for his flight uniform.  The buyer will have my usual unconditional guarantee of satisfaction and a five-day (
not the 14-days that they insert in my listings without my consent
) right of inspection and return/refund privilege, excluding postage.
