    SET of 2 BLUE SPONGEWARE PETAL DINNER PLATES
    This  auction is for 2 new dinner plates designed by Gerald Henn.  These are petal shaped, cream color with blue spongeware decoration. The plates have never been used.  One plate has a some slight discoloration in a couple of spots on the underside.  This is something I see often on the unglazed underside of pottery, so, I assume it has something to do with the firing in the kiln.  Each plate is crafted in the USA and initialed by the artist who decorated it.  Henn pottery is very collectible.  But, because the Workshops of Gerald Henn closed in 2009, it is no longer readily available.  This great pottery is freezer, oven, and microwave safe.  Buyer pays shipping charge which includes insurance.
