Our process:
Unlike many, we are willing to share all the details on our printing. We print at 0.02mm (20 microns!) which takes significantly longer in terms of print times. We also use 4x anti-aliasing. We don't believe in "tabletop quality"--our prints are aimed at being "painter's quality." Your average 3D resin print will be produced at 0.05mm (50 microns) to save time.
Our prints are done in an opaque grey resin that has 10% flexible resin mixed in. The print will still not bend or flex, but it provides some impact resistance in the case you drop your miniature and also helps with handling durability. This is a more expensive resin mixture, but we think it is worth the quality. You should still be careful with your miniature--as like all resin products they are breakable. Damage outside of shipping will not be covered.
We only sell models that we have successfully printed with a high degree of accuracy and minimal support marks. This makes our range of offerings smaller, but your model will not have any failed areas or large defects. Item listings display a picture of our actual prints, not just a 3d rendering! Look through all of the listing pictures to see images of the actual components that will be sent. Scales and sizes are listed in the description when available.
Please note that resin prints need to be hollow for proper curing. Drain holes will be present on the parts but are placed in areas that will not be visible after assembly. Prints will have the majority of supports removed and will be cleaned, cured, and washed before shipping. However, some supports marks and small imperfections may be present and you should expect to do minor sanding and prep work before assembling. Keyed parts will fit, but there may be gaps that require filling, priming, and painting. The kits do not come with instructions but assembly should be straightforward based on the reference image in the listing.
