Please see attached pics.
I hit black ice and the bike went straight down onto its left side. The crash protectors stopped the fairing from touching the ground and saved it. Not only that, but the crash protector didn't bend - I've crashed bikes in the past and usually the bolts that hold the crash posts on get bent, but not in this case! This is despite the hefty weight of the bike (Triumph Sprint ST 1050).
I'm very impressed with the performance of these, they were at least as good as more expensive ones, if not better. I had only fitted them days before the crash, I'm so glad I did!
