    This is one of the balls that a company produced undersized so instead of throwing them out they covered them in resin and produced them as cue balls.  You can see the outline of the circle from the numbered ball underneath the covering.
    All of the Pool items are from a closed Pool and Billiards repair shop that closed in the late 80's and these have been in storage since then,  The Owner of the shop helped write several books on Billiards and the history of the game.
