    WWII Era British Commando Patch - Embroidered on Wool
    The patch has some very light wear throughout.  There is some fraying along the outer border of the wool.  All stitching is sound.  The patch has been black light tested - No GLOW.
    Measures approx. 2 7/8" x 1 3/4"
    No. 6 Commandos - Landed on Sword Beach on June 6, 1944; part of Lord Lovat's Brigade, 1st Special Service Brigade.
    No. 9 Commandos - Scottish Army Commandos; Mediterranean theatre, part of the 2nd Special Service Brigade.
    No 10 Commandos - Inter-Allied unit / Euro Volunteers - Burma, Mediterranean, Western Europe theatre.
